Once the heart of Wellington Newspapers, the historic Press Hall has been redeveloped into a vibrant and exotic destination offering a hand-picked collective of unique taste experiences. The main concern to the client was the brand identity created - it didn't represent this eclectic and vibrant melting pot of cuisines and cultures housed under one historic roof.
A+M created an all new identity which we believe far better conveys the emotion of Press Hall. Custom illustration was employed, playing with traditional ingredients in an abstract array of colour ways to represent the various food cultures on offer. The typeface was drawn directly from the original type used in the Press. Overall, the identity is emotive and engaging.
